We only cale here for my 15 year old sister. This review is based from her thoughts. SHE LOVED IT! She found out about this place and their push-up sushi from TikTok. She loved everything about it. The whole concept is interesting. The space is small, but well laid out. They also have sushi by the weight where you go and pick your sushi, as much as you want and pay by weight.

Pretty much what the name suggests. They also have Nigiri platters. Food is decent, don’t expect wow food, but it’s a quick solution with lots of options. Do you know that sitting is limited with mostly high tables and it can get really crowded during lunchtime.

The place is nice and clean, and the food is great. There are a lot of options, everything feels fresh, and I also loved the packaging. The free spicy mayo and eel sauce were a nice bonus. However, what brings this down to 3 stars is accessibility. The entrance has two heavy doors without automatic push buttons, which makes it very difficult to enter with a stroller and nearly impossible for someone using a wheelchair. You have a great concept and product — but you can do a much better job making the space truly accessible for everyone.

Umi sushi is a great place to stop by for a variety of sushi - you get to build your own tray and pay by weight at checkout. I honestly think the quality is also good for the price that you are paying. I got a 10% discount by showing my university card. Although I was lucky to be able to sit down and eat every time I went, there is limited seating (a row of bar chairs by the window).
